Two killed in Garissa
From Mau forest to Magingo island, Mandera to Modhakaray of garissa , land is a thorny issue in Kenya which can easily lead to communities clashing over small piece of land.

Everywhere in Kenya  land price has appreciated despite global downturn and Garissa is one of the major towns  expanding  to the grazing fields and residents are trying to own as much land as possible.

On Thursday night  two were killed  and scores injured  when Aulyahan and Aubudaq clans clashed over territorial control.

Unconfirmed sources told nfdonline, religious leaders and elders  from both sides were seen trying to defuse the situation to prevent whole out inter clan clashes like that of 2001.
